A ton of paper cranes!

We are very happy to announce that we have made almost 500 paper cranes!! Thank you to all who came to make a ton of paper cranes for Japan tonight!!!

If you want to make some paper cranes for Japan but couldn't come tonight, please let us know!! You want to make more!?!? Please let us know too!!

I've been designing crane art and finally figured out a best way to put all paper cranes together to make a Japanese flag:) Zeo, thanks a lot for helping my design! These paper cranes will be an awesome crane art on March 23.Please join our memorial ceremony for the Great East Japan Earthquake.

We are also planning to light up the Hall of Languages with Japanese flag's color, white and red. Our president Midori is working on it very hard and tries to get a permission from the University. We are really hoping that the Hall of Languages will light up in white/red for 3.11 memorial like the Empire State Building did so for Japan's Disaster Relief last year.

Please let us know if you have any suggestions, comments, thoughts, and etc. for our 3.11 project!

Have a nice weekend!

Happy super belated new year and happy belated valentine ’s day!

Because I haven’t been on here since..when? and this new Blogger's layout looks so confusing. Why all technical things need to be kept updated? In any case, how have you been? I know it's too late to say welcome back to Syracuse since it's almost March! You remember last year all grounds were covered with a thick layer of snow and what's going on this year? So warm! No snow-boots! No gloves! but don't you sometimes miss severe weather? jk

Anyway, we're going to host a paper crane event this Friday! :) Look at this nice flier made by our great PR person! :)

We'll also announce our follow-up events in March so come join us! ;) In March, you'll see something so artistic on campus!! :) In so doing, JSA officers    are putting so much effort to this 3.11 project. But we can't make this event more attractive without your support. So come see us this Friday!!! You'll enjoy making cranes as if you were a child at elementary school. You'll also get free crackers (arare), tea and a coupon!

We all are looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible on Friday!!

Midori
